What is BUMA?

Marketing is at the core of every organization; it is their culture, their values, their people, their product and their story. All of this combines to give consumers an idea of what the company stands for, and all of it contributes to the ultimate decision of whether or not to do business with the company.

The Brock U Marketing Association provides all students, encompassing a passion for marketing, the opportunity to attend conferences and competitions, participate in workshops, network with industry professionals and use their classroom knowledge in the execution of community based marketing projects.

Our goal is to provide students with the ultimate university experience- gaining valuable skills and knowledge while having fun and meeting great people with similar interests. We will put students in the driver seat of their personal brand.

We operate under three key areas:

  • Creating and executing campaigns, both for the Brock University Faculty of Business, as well as for outside companies.
  • Sending students to marketing competitions, allowing them to compete on national and international stages
  • Workshops demonstrating the various topics relevant to marketing and business.  For more information, visit our General Members page.
